A New Post From Michaela Perryman http://GlobalEyeImages.com/portfolio/MPerryman Callanai 1, is one of three stone circles on the Isle of Lewis in the village of Callanish, in the Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. This is the most impressive of the three linked circles with most of the stones still standing. The centre of the circle contains a burial cyst. Images taken at sunrise in August 2011 |
